Haymaker is such a gem. The menu is pretty simple, but SO good. I’ve been so impressed by the quality of ingredients, and the fact that there’s only one chef back there. We’ve also grown to love the bartender. He is always so kind and personable, and does a great job with keeping the drinks flowing especially with big rushes. One of our favorite spots!
What a great surprise find this was. As we travel throughout different cities, my partner is a traveling nurse, it’s fun to find a bar with not only great atmosphere great cocktails but also fabulous music. Highly recommend.
Haymaker Bar has a neighbor bar vibe with gourmet food. Our group had the steak tenderloin, hanger steak, and chicken Caesar salad. Bourbon Mushroom were incredible. All fantastic and the best food we had during our 4-day vacation. Highly recommend this place! Cheers!
First time visiting tonight and we will definitely be returning. Along with tasty drinks, the food was fantastic. We particularly loved the green beans, streak, potato, and mushroom. The cook was very sweet as well. Thank you for a great meal!
Wonderful spot with great happy hr menu. Prices are great. Yummy options, wide variety of specialty drinks including NA I got a flight and tried 6 beers from their brew master. Very good. My favorite was the terminator...the darker one. The view out the windows along the rt side wall were spectacular. Our waitress and bar tender were attentive, sweet and funny, and very accommodating. Wish I lived closer, but I was visiting my son from CA for my birthday and Easter.
Great food for a bar. Hangar steak salad & a nice IPA - what more is there? Good music, well run open mic on Thursdays. Friendly service & a well stocked bar. Take a date or just go down for a relaxing meal.
Great venue and staff! The food is amazing and never disappoints. They also host a variety of local shows, both music and comedy. I did my first open mic here and was hooked. I recently was on a fun show called Comedians Write A Porno: HoHo-Rotica Edition Here's a small clip of me reading a porno with some audience adlibs added in and photos from that night. It was packed!
Vegetarians and vegans fear not! I always say restaurants need to have at least one bomb item on their menu for us non meat eaters. Man, does this place deliver on that! I had the bourbon mushrooms, and they were incredible! They also offered to put the mushrooms on top of their polenta dish rather than the prawns (may want to put that on your menu), but I wasn't that hungry. Maybe next time. Regardless, even for an appetizer, what I had was delicious and a solid portion. And they did the things that makes sense, make a great veg option other than some lame salad. I'm absolutely going back!
